As the founding member of the firm, Ronald A. Podboy puts over twenty years of trial experience to work for his clients.

Experience

2/1994 to present – Private law practice with emphasis on criminal law and employment law. Practicing in state and federal courts primarily in Colorado. Trial practice includes both criminal and civil matters. Civil practice, in addition to employment law in state and federal courts, includes personal injury law and domestic law. Appellate work pursued where required in personal caseload with published state appeals court decisions in both employment and sovereign immunity/tort analysis

1986 to 1994 – Senior Deputy District Attorney, Denver, Colorado. Responsibilities included pre-filing investigative advice to police detectives, case pleading analysis, case preparation and presentation of preliminary and motions hearings, and trying cases to juries. In my tenure I took well over 60 cases to jury trial, including murder, aggravated assault, sex assault, vehicular homicide, successful prosecution of the largest prostitution ring then in Colorado (mid 90’s), burglary and lesser felony offenses. I have also taught various state and metro training classes on courtroom related legal topics.
